The South African Post Office has now released the SASSA R350 grant payment dates for 21-25 February 2022. Most SASSA R350 grant recipients collect their grants from South African Post Offices. The last 3 digits of your ID number determine on which day you can collect your SASSA SRD grant.
SASSA Status Check For R350 Payment Dates For 21-25 February 2022
The last three digits of the beneficiaries’ identity numbers indicate the day on which they can visit their nearest Post Office to collect their R350 SRD grant, provided they have received an SMS informing them that the grant has been paid in.
Here are the SASSA SRD payment dates for 21-25 February 2022:
- 21 February 2022: 082 & 087
- 22 February 2022: 083 & 088
- 23 February 2022: 084 & 089
- 24 February 2022: 080 & 085
- 25 February 2022: 081& 086
The South African Post Office does not distribute the SASSA SRD grant when other social grants are being distributed. The beginning of the month / first week of the month is reserved for the payment of grants to the elderly, child grants and disability grants. The rest of the month is dedicated to the payment of SRD grants.
The South African Post Office has asked SASSA SRD grant recipients to only go to the Post Office after they have received an SMS informing them that their money is available for collection.
The President declared a National State of Disaster as a result of the Covid-19 global pandemic. In this regard he introduced a special Covid 19 Social Relief of Distress Grant (SRD) of R350 per month for until March 2023 to be paid to individuals who are currently unemployed, do not receive any form of income, social grant or UIF payment etc.
The SRD grant is distributed by the South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) on behalf of the Department of Social Development.
