SASSA Status Check for SRD R350 Payment Dates for June 2022, SASSA R350 Grant Payment Dates for June 2022 have been revealed. The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) has announced that payments for the new cycle of the R350 grant would be paid from mid-June 2022. SASSA will begin to process June payments of the R350 grant on 22 June 2022 for all approved clients. The SRD grant benefits more than 10 million people in South Africa.
Other Sassa grant payments for the month of June began from Thursday 2 June 2022.
All R350 grant beneficiaries are urged to re-apply for the R350 COVID-19 Social Relief of distress grant. Beneficiaries can re-apply for the R350 SRD grant srd.sassa.gov.za or by using the WhatsApp number 082 046 8553.
SASSA has also revealed that this month (June 2022), they will pay June’s SRD R350 grant. In July 2022. they will start the backlog, starting with April payments. May 2022 outstanding SASS SRD payments will be paid in August 2022. In the month of June 2022 we will pay for this month’s SRD R350 grant. In July we will start the backlog, starting with April assessments. May outstanding will be paid in August. From August 2022 onwards, monthly SASSA SRD payments should resume as per usual.
“We expect August to be on track to pay monthly grants beyond this period.” – SASSA said
SASSA Status Check for SRD R350 Payment Dates for June 2022
The SRD R350 grant re-application process now includes an option where beneficiaries can receive their grant from any Shoprite, Checker, Pick n Pay, Boxer or USave merchant. Log on to srd.sassa.gov.za and respond to the security SMS you receive on your phone. You can then include merchants in your application and submit the updated application. Post Office branches will no longer pay out R350 SRD grants. If your Sassa SRD grant application is approved, you can collect the money from the following retail outlets:
- Checkers
- Usave
- Shoprite
- Pick ‘n Pay
- Boxer
“When going to a retail outlet to access the funds, clients must have their Identity Document, and Cellphone with access to the number they registered with when applying for the grant,” said SASSA.
All R350 beneficiaries are urged to use their cellphone numbers to withdraw their grants at supermarkets. If you did not use your own cellphone number, you can also change it on the Sassa SRD website. You can also reset card pins at the cash pay points. The card can then be used at merchants at ATMs.
SASSA beneficiaries who receive old age, disability or child grants can still collect their grants from any South African Post Office branch.
How to Receive Sassa SRD Grant Payment for June via Bank Account?
The SASSA SRD grant beneficiaries also have an option to receive the R350 grant deposited directly into their bank account as it is the safest and most convenient option.

When Will SASSA R350 Grant Payment Dates for June 2022 Paid?
All South Africans who have applied for and have qualified for the SASSA SRD R350 social relief grant by Friday 13 May 2022 can expect to receive their SASSA R350 grant payment by from Wednesday, 22 June 2022.
