How to Receive SASSA R350 Grant Payment?

There are various ways to receive your SRD grant payment. SASSA allows for a R350 grant to be paid directly into your bank account. This is one of the most convenient ways for beneficiaries to access their R350 grant money. Alternatively, you can collect your R350 grant money from any Shoprite, Checkers, Usave, Pick n Pay, Boxer or selected OK Foods. When going to collect your R350 grants, you must have your ID document and the cellphone with access to the number you used to apply for the R350 grant. It must be the same cellphone number with which you have registered on the SASSA database, as a confirmation OTP will be sent to this number to prevent fraud. The payments will not be done together, but will be done month by month. More than one payment may be made in a month, but no one will receive double payments in amount. SASSA will do these multiple payments in a month until the backlog is finalized, where after monthly payments will resume.” – Sassa said on Facebook

When Will the SASSA R350 Grant End?

The R350 SRD grant is set to be paid from 1 April 2022 until 31 March 2023. Applications for the SRD grant opened on 23 April 2022 and the South African Social Security Agency (Sassa) has stated that new additional qualifying criteria has been added.
