SA musician Maya Wegerif, commonly known by her stage name Sho Madjozi, has made her debut as a cover girl for ELLE Magazine.

South African rapper and poet is known for rapping in her native tongue Xitsonga, and for her Swahili house hit single Huku.
Sho Madjozi now joins the November issue cover girl club that includes Terry Pheto, Lorna MAseko, Thando Thabethe and Thuso Mbedu among others.
“@ShoMadjozi graces ELLE South Africa’s first digital cover, wearing the H&M & Moschino (TV) collection (sic),” – the magazine captioned their photo.
Taking to Instagram to share her excitement, Sho said: “Cant wait for next month’s issue of Elle. It will be my first print cover. In the meantime you can check out the digital story on @ellesouthafrica Pictures shot by @jonathan_kope (sic).”
