Singer and actress Mara Louw leaves The Queen

Veteran actress and singer Mara Louw is allegedly leaving Mzansi Magic’s telenovela ‘The Queen’.

According to Sunday Sun, Mara Louw has parted ways with the Fergusons because they couldn’t reach an agreement on her new contract.

The paper also alleges that Mara declined to take their new contract because they treated her like trash, “I declined to take their offer because they treated me like trash.” she said.

Mara Louw has been in the entertainment industry for decades now and she has played different characters over the years.

Louw had a lead role on the SABC2 Muvhango and has acted in numerous musicals, stage plays and feature films. In 2015 she landed the starring role of Ma Mgcina, Boss’s doting mother who lives in Soweto, in the eKasi+ / e.tv sitcom B&B.

The actress joined The Queen in 2016 along notable faces such as ello Maake Ka-Ncube, Sthembiso “SK” Khoza, Natasha Thahane, Themba Ndaba, Shona Ferguson, Mbali Nkosi, Dineo Moeketsi, Loyiso MacDonald, Zenzo Ngqobe, Zandile Msutwana and Slindile Nodangala.
