Singer and songwriter Lady Zamar, whose real name is Yamikani Janet Banda, has admitted dating an award-winning recording artist and actor Sjava.

Taking to Twitter today, Lady Zamar started off by saying that making public announcements about ones private life is a bad idea. “Public announcements about your life are a BAD idea (sic),” – she said before publicly confirming that she ended her two-year relationship with Sjava, whose real name is Jabulani Hadebe.
“Yeah we dated from June 2017 and ended things March 2019… That’s all so y’all can stop with the questions..Yes he denied it to the media but that’s coz we wanted it to be a private thing… Cats out the bag I guess…such a pity it had to come out this way (sic),” – she tweeted saying their relationship had ended last month.

In the past, both artists strongly denied that they were an item. ZAlebs reported that in an interview Move magazine, Sjava even said that he wished he dated Lady Zamar. However, Banda came out earlier on today saying they wanted their love life to stay under wraps.
Her management Kim Sineke, confirmed with SowetanLIVE that she indeed posted tweet and that she was focusing on her music.
“Although Lady Zamar maintains privacy with her personal life, we can confirm the statement sent from her social media page and would make no further comment on the matter. Lady Zamar is currently focusing on her music and her new single This Is Love,” – she told the publication.
