Entertainer Skolopad has opened up about her battle with cancer. She revealed that she was diagnosed with cervical cancer back in 2015 and the doctor gave the option to either undergo chemotherapy or have a hysterectomy.
Nonhlanhla Qwabe became known as the lady in the yellow dress at the Metro FM Awards last year. Skolopad, who is also a professional nurse, has a teenage daughter and explained why she only has one child.
“It was really really difficult. I cried and I was very upset, but I had to accept it because I know what it was like. It really upset me” – Skolopad told TshisaLIVE.
“It wasn’t part of my plan (to have cancer). I had things planned out. I was looking forward to getting married and having children” – She added.
The 33-year-old, who don’t mind being a second wife, told the publication that she is still looking for a husband but she made it clear that she won’t be having more children.
“I don’t mind because we can just have fun. I won’t be able to have kids but we can live life nicely.”
