Dawn Thandeka King, the actress who plays the character of MaNgcobo on the SABC 1’s popular soapie Uzalo is alerting people about a person pretending to be her on WhatsApp.

The award winning actress took to her Instagram page clarifying that it’s not her and people should be aware of this WhatsApp scam.
Taking to Instagram, Dawn Thandeka King said there’s a person on WhatsApp pretending to be her and asking money from people.
“Hi Everyone, please be aware of this scam, someone has a WhatsApp account posing as Dawn Thandeka King soliciting money from people and promising them appearances on Uzalo (sic),” – she said
She further added: “This has nothing to do with me, nor my foundation, the SABC does not ever charge people to appear on Television. It is sad that people would stoop this low. Please do not fall for this scam (sic).”
