Duma Mnqobi, who played Fana on Generations The Legacy failed to impress most South Africans upon hearing and seeing the first music video by the actor.

Duma left Generations to pursue a career in music. He joined Generations: The Legacy in 2016 when his onscreen father, Jack Mabaso (played by Vusi Kunene), was reintroduced. His character was killed after he got caught in the middle of his father’s criminal world.

The 34-year-old was roasted on Twitter earlier this week and tweeps can’t stop talking about him. Some even begged him to go back to acting because his music is not gonna fly.

However, Duma is standing by his decision. He even dragged rapper Cassper Nyovest and now tweeps are confused.

“Umsindo by Me let’s top the chats that Cassper Nyovest couldn’t top (sic),” – he captioned his music video.

The actor also defended his music on social media that he started music before joining Generations but now he wants to take it more seriously: “Well I started my music career before I joined Generations today I was recording this track which I wrote 2016, Hope you will love it (sic),” – Duma Mnqobi wrote on Twitter.
