Yizo Yizo is counted as one of the most iconic shows to hit South Africa when it comes to television shows. Yizi Yizo played on SABC1 from 1999 to 2004. The series was set in a fictional school, Supatsela High, in a township of Johannesburg.
The show broke record ratings and is still watched by millions of South Africans on YouTube and SABC Encore on DStv Channel 156.
Aluta Film Festival announced on Twitter that the series will be made into a feature length film. Your favourite South African actors Menzi Ngubane, Pearl Thusi, Thapelo Mokoena and Connie Chiume will star in the movie.

They should've given this to emerging talent. That's what defined the real Yizo Yizo. Instead we are being abused with same people that are all over our TVs already.
