About R350 Grant Appeals

The official link for SRD R350 grant appeals is https://srd.dsd.gov.za/appeals/. There’s a couple of things you need to know before you lodge an appeal. All Covid-19 SRD applicants, they may, within a period of 30 days but not exceeding 90 days, appeal SASSA’s decision to the Independent Tribunal for Social Assistance Appeals (ITSAA). You must double check that the information you provided to SASSA SRD – https://srd.sassa.gov.za/, which is reflected on the SRD DSD Appeal Electronic Platform is complete and correct. Make sure that all your details are correct.

According to srd.dsd.gov.za, if your Covid-19 SRD appeal is successful, the Independent Tribunal will direct SASSA to initiate the payment of the Covid-19 SRD directly to you and accordingly need to have your correct contact information.

“As the Covid-19 SRD is re-evaluated by SASSA and paid on a monthly basis, to confirm that a person is still in need of the Covid-19 SRD, an appeal application needs to be lodged in relation to each month where a person is rejected by SASSA.” – srd.dsd.gov.za said
