Revlon has announced four new celebrity brand ambassadors. TV personalities LootLove, Bontle Modiselle, Kim Jayde and actress Michelle Mosalakae were revealed as the faces of the make-up brand.

The four newest celebrities will be joining television personality, radio host and businesswoman Bonang Matheba. Matheba became the company’s first ever SA face in 2013.

Kim, Bontle, LootLove and Michelle took to social media to share the exciting news.

“Today, we finally get to share a movement: that is the first of its kind in Africa! 4 completely different and unique women showing little girls that it’s more than ok to be different – it should be CELEBRATED! Thank you REVLON for choosing us to be your BRIGADE! #LiveBoldlySA (sic),” fashion blogger and MTV presenter Kim Jayde tweeted.

Announcing the news on Touch HD yesterday, Bontle said they are thrilled to follow in the footsteps of women like Bonang Matheba, Halle Berry, Gwen Stefani, Ciara and Emma stone.

David Oyelowo on black James Bond rumours

A British-Nigerian actor and producer David Oyelowo doesn’t know whether there will ever be a black James Bond or not.

David’s highest-profile role to date was as Martin Luther King Jr. in the American biographical drama film Selma.

The 42-year-old Oyelowo admitted he isn’t sure whether the iconic 007 spy will ever be played by a black actor in the future, but understands that audiences are “ready and screaming” for more female actors and actors of colour.

Speaking to Shortlist Magazine, Oyelowo said: “Whether a black actor will end up being James Bond I don’t know, but it’s very clear that the audience is ready and screaming for actors of colour, or women, or just different kinds of people than we’ve hitherto seen, to be front and centre in those kinds of movies.
