Following a highly successful inaugural Fill Up Internship Programme in 2017, multi award-winning musician, Cassper Nyovest, has announced that the Fill Up Internship Programme will take place again this year.

Cassper Nyovest started the internship programme as a means to pay it forward and equip young people with tangible skills across various event disciplines.

This year’s Fill Up Internship Programme will be open to Durban residents only. Anyone 18 years old and above may apply. The application process will be done via interviews. Interested candidates need only bring along their IDs and attend the interview session. The following departments will be interviewing for interns: Operations, Talent Operations, Logistics, Accreditation, Hospitality & Catering, Merchandise, Marketing, PR and Sponsorship.

  • Date: Saturday, 17 November 2018
  • Time: Interviews will take place between 10am and 3pm
  • Location: Moses Mabhida Stadium, Durban

The #FillUpMosesMabhida Internship Programme will run from Wednesday, 28 November 2018 until Friday, 30 November 2018. All interns will also be required to attend the concert on Saturday, 1 December 2018 to apply their learnings.

Bollywood star Krishna Kumar Kunnath to officially open Suncoast’s The Globe

Krishna Kumar Kunnath, better known as KK, has been mesmerising audiences around the world with his powerful and soulful voice for over two decades and fans of this top Indian playback singer, will have the chance to watch him for the first in South Africa live in concert on 8 December at the official opening of the Suncoast’s new venue, The Globe.

Whether it’s Tadap Tadap, Zara Sa, Awarapan Banjarapan and Tu Hi Meri Shab, there will be firm favourites for everyone. KK – Live in Concert is brought to you by Blu Blood and Showtime Promotions, both synonymous for bringing world-class entertainment to South Africa.

“We are excited to be bringing out one of Bollywood’s all-time favourite playback singers. This is KK’s first performance in South Africa and it’s worth mentioning that this will be the first show in Suncoast’s new events venue, The Globe,” says MD of Blu Blood, Osman Osman.

MTN Joyous Celebration sets the festive spirit in motion in the Mother City

MTN Joyous Celebration is returning to Cape Town’s shores to record their next album instalment, Joyous 23, after 10 years since the group last recorded in the city.

From the 13th to the 15th of December, the multiple award-winning and internationally acclaimed gospel ensemble promises a unique and intimate experience of praise and worship in the Auditorium at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC). This follows a successful tour of their Joyous 22 “All for You” album which was concluded on a high note at the Sun Arena, Time Square in Pretoria recently.

Giving insight into the presentation and the aesthetics of the live recording, Lindelani Mkhize says, “We are about uniqueness, authenticity and being relevant, which is why we always aspire to bring something new and fresh. Our supporters can expect a theatrical experience with an eclectic mix of various elements, showcasing our new costumes and fashion as well as our talented soloists and vocalists to balance our slow and up-tempo songs. As it has always been with each of the albums, Joyous 23 will have something for everyone, for every moment in life.”

MTN Executive for Consumer Business, Mapula Bodibe says they are excited Cape Town will host the next recording, exactly a decade after the Mother City last hosted the prestigious show.
