Rapper Emtee, whose real name is Mthembeni Ndevu is getting married. The rapper revealed that his girlfriend Nicole Chinsamy said “yes” when he popped the question.

The rapper took to Twitter to share the news. “Got engaged. No Cap,” he wrote.

Speaking to TshisaLIVE that he popped the question on Sunday while the pair were in Ghana at a hotel they were staying in.

“It happened on Sunday. We were in Ghana at the hotel we were staying in. It felt like the perfect moment and the place was a nice place to be.”

“I had been searching for the right ring for a while. You know browsing for one for a while because this proposal was long overdue. I’ve wanted to do it for a while but I also had to pace myself and not rush into things,” – he told the publication.

Isibaya actress Jessica Nkosi took to Instagram stories to share how much she misses her late father and also that, she wishes he was here to meet his granddaughter.

Jessica Nkosi and her husband Ntokozo Dlamini welcomed their baby girl almost two months ago.

DRUM reports that Jessica lost her father to a rare cancer called Hodgkin’s disease when she was in grade 11. “He was my best friend, so it was not easy to let go,” – she told DRUM in an interview.

“How I wish my dad could’ve met my daughter, I see so much of him in her, I feel like they would be best friends,” Jessica wrote on her Insta Story.

As reported by ZAlebs, in an interview with Pearl Modiadie on Zaziwa, she shared: “Growing up with my dad was perfect, I mean he taught me everything. I know how to iron because of my dad, I know how to cook certain things because of my dad.”

Actress Brenda Mhlongo leaves Generations

Actress Brenda Mhlongo has spoken about her exit from Generations: The Legacy. Brenda, who was one of the lead actors on the show, told DRUM that her contract was not renewed.

In an interview with DRUM, Brenda confirmed that she’s done shooting her scenes already.

“My contract was not renewed. The writers said they don’t know how to take my character forward,” Brenda told DRUM that she’s done shooting her scenes already.

Brenda Mhlongo, who played Rafiki in The Lion King, joined Generations The Legacy in 2016. She played the role of Nandi, Jack Mabaso’s wife (played by Vusi Kunene).

“I was really hurt when they told me that my character was ending. I really loved playing Nandi – we had similarities in our personalities. And I learnt a lot from her and how she solved problems.”

Sophie, who is best known for her role as Queen Moroka on the SABC1 soapie Generations, has undergone a huge body transformation  (weight loss) but it is more of a lifestyle change.

In an interview with DRUM Magazne last year, the 46-year-old revealed that she is diabetic, so this gave her an awakening. It made her realise that she has children and responsibilities towards her kids.

Sophie has been going to the gym and swimming since she was diagnosed with diabetic. She also revealed that she’s cut down on sugar, carbohydrates and alcohol.

The wedding-planning guru, who has been following her diet said that “eating healthy is seen as being fancy but it actually helps”- Sophie said that time.

American actress, comedian and singer Tichina Arnold is set to join South Africa’s much loved prison drama, Lockdown for its third season. 

Tichina Arnold, who is best known for her role on American comedy series, Everybody Hates Chris, will play the role of Paulette, a new inmate on Mzansi Magic’s Lockdown.

The 48 year-old is already in South Africa promoting Lockdown and told the media that she is looking forward to broadening her horizons.

In an interview with DRUM, the Hollywood star said: “I wanted to leave America and see what other opportunities are out there that’s why I took the role in a South African show,” she said.
