Throughout her Presenter Search On 3 journey, the star continued to give 110% week after week which helped her clinch the role of Expresso’s new field presenter. This role will see Mosa Kaiser covering various events and interviews on location with the inserts flighting on South Africa’s feel-good breakfast show.

Get to know Mosa Kaiser better with this short Q&A: 
What has been the highlight of your time on Presenter Search on 3?

My Presenter Search on 3 highlight was being part of the Expresso take-over and interviewing Prince Kaybee. To be quite honest, that challenge made me realise there that I have longevity in this presenting industry.

What has been the biggest lesson this experience has taught you?

The biggest lesson I learned has been that I must truly trust my journey and God’s timing. Hard work and faith goes a long way.

Getting to know Top Billing’s Dr. Fezile Mkhize

The fourth season of Presenter Search on 3 came to a jaw-dropping end earlier this month and six brand new faces including Dr. Fezile Mkhize joined the SABC 3 family.

While initially looking for three new presenters to join the SABC 3 stable, judges Patience Stevens, DJ Fresh, Sbusiso Kumalo and Jeannie D were impressed by the overwhelming amount of talent and have decided to open up the industry even further by welcoming Harmony Katulondi, Ryle De Morny, Fezile Mkhize,Palesa Tembe, and Thabiso Makhubela to the SABC 3 family with Mosa Kaiser grabbing a role as Expresso’s new field presenter.

One of the faces joining the Top Billing family is Dr. Fezile Mkhize. With his charming good looks, infectious personality and vast medical knowledge, Fezile is bound to add a great deal of experience to the Top Billing stable. Fezile was a front-runner in the competition ever since his girlfriend convinced him to audition and effortlessly undertook every curve-ball that was thrown at him throughout the season – making him the perfect addition to the SABC 3 family.

Five Minutes With Expresso’s Thabiso Makhubela

Earlier this month, the fourth season of Presenter Search on 3 saw six brand new faces joining the SABC 3 family.

While initially looking for three new presenters to join the SABC 3 stable, judges Patience Stevens, DJ Fresh, Sbusiso Kumalo and Jeannie D were impressed by the overwhelming amount of talent and have decided to open up the industry even further by welcoming Harmony Katulondi, Ryle De Morny, Fezile Mkhize,Palesa Tembe, and Thabiso Makhubela to the SABC 3 family with Mosa Kaiser grabbing a role as Expresso’s new field presenter.

Joining the Expresso family is brand strategist Thabiso Makhubela. Since his first audition, Thabiso easily cemented himself as a frontrunner in the competition. The new Expresso presenter gained a massive support system on social media during the season and overcame obstacles to win over the judges in what has been described as the show’s most impressive season to date.

What has been the highlight of your time on Presenter Search on 3? 

The highlight of my time with Presenter Search on 3 has to be the two takeovers we did of the Expresso morning show and Top Billing. Those moments were so surreal because in those times, I actually lived out a dream.

What has been the biggest lesson this experience has taught you?

The single biggest lesson this experience has taught me is to take a chance on myself. Many people often have dreams and interests they would like to pursue but hold themselves back. Each week, I saw myself take a chance. I wasn’t always in a comfortable space but I got in there and gave it the best I could.

Five New Faces Join The SABC 3 Family As PRESENTER SEARCH on 3 Comes To An End

After a gruelling audition process, intense workshop rounds and some tough eliminations, SABC 3 is proud to welcome five brand new faces to the channel as the fourth season of Presenter Search on 3 comes to an end.

While initially looking for three new presenters to join the SABC 3 stable, judges Patience Stevens, DJ Fresh, Sbusiso Kumalo and Jeannie D were impressed by the overwhelming amount of talent and have decided to open up the industry even further by welcoming Harmony Katulondi, Ryle De Morny, Fezile Mkhize,Palesa Tembe, and Thabiso Makhubela to the SABC 3 family.

Harmony, Ryle and Fezile struck up quite the bromance during their time on Presenter Search on 3, and dubbed themselves as the league of extraordinary gentlemen during the masterclass rounds. The three continue their adventure by giving Top Billing viewers the best of the good life as they join one of the country’s most glamorous lifestyle magazine shows.

“Speaking French will allow me to add to an international flare to Top Billing. My diverse background, upbringing and curious nature will also bring an interesting perspective to the segments,” Harmony said shortly after receiving his spot on the show.

PRESENTER SEARCH ON 3 Top 10 Announcement

After a nationwide audition process and having been put to the test through various challenges in the masterclasses, 10 aspiring presenters have made it to the next round on Presenter Search on 3 as the competition heats up.

Over the next few weeks, the Top 10 will put their presenting skills to the ultimate test as they vie for a coveted presenting spot on SABC 3’s Top BillingExpresso and Afternoon Express. Throughout the upcoming episodes, the contestants will be eliminated one by one after a series of tasks until the final three are left who will ultimately get a presenting contract with the SABC for one of the three shows. After a vigorous audition process and educational masterclasses, these are the 10 contestants who have impressed the judges the most and who move onto the next phase of the competition:

Harmony Katulondi  

From Johannesburg, 28-year old Harmony Katulondi is a model and voice-over artist.  He holds a double degree in Economics and Econometrics and his unique smooth voice has earned him work for some of South Africa’s biggest advertising campaigns. His style is influenced by his mother, who has her own fashion label that specialises in African prints. He is fluent in French and enjoys spending time outdoors. “I’m Grateful to God and I feel so blessed to be in the Top 10. It’s an honour to know that the judges see something great in me – something great enough to give me the opportunity to be a potential SABC 3 presenter & ambassador,” Harmony shares. “With all that said, I’m really looking forward to the master classes & going through challenges that will better my craft and improve the gifts and talents that I’ve been blessed with.”

Fun Fact: While Harmony is very involved in fashion and entertainment, he is also a Sunday school teacher.

Peelo Mookodi

Born in Botswana, 24-year old Peelo Mookodi is an entertainment entrepreneur with a passion for women empowerment. She obtained her degree in International Relations & Psychology at WITS in Johannesburg. No stranger to the limelight, Peelo has experience as a TV presenter in her home country, having hosted a lifestyle travel show on the national broadcaster, BTV. Peelo is passionate about education and in her spare time enjoys reading and cooking. “My initial reaction to having made it to the Top10 was that of pure joy and relief. With that said this feeling was also very short lived because now it means that the real work begins. Whatever brought me to the Top 10 needs to be the reason I am crowned the winner,” Peelo says. “What I am looking forward to the most about being on the show is meeting all the incredible people that will assist in elevating my career as well as constantly being challenged which will force me to really refine my presenting skills.”

Fun Fact: Peelo has a photographic memory when it comes to memorising number plates.
