Dianetse won prizes to the value of R23 000 and will now move on to compete in the final alongside the smooothest fans of the other celebrity contestants in the hopes of winning R250 000 cash and a Honda Amaze.

Bonang Matheba has cemented her spot as one of the most popular celebrities to have ever come out of South Africa. Bonang Matheba announces a social media documentary

Media personality Bonang Matheba is without a doubt one of the most talented and successful celebrities in South Africa. The former Metro FM radio host has announced that she will have a social media documentary.

A documentary which she co-produced called Public Figure will be released in 2019. The documentary, which is produced by American production company, Red Button Films, will look at the power of social media and how it has impacted society.

“Super proud of this project!! Co-produced an awesome documentary titled Public Figure alongside @redbuttonfilm …. @publicfigurefilm explores the power of social media & how it’s impacted society! Out in 2019 (sic),” – Bonang Matheba captioned the trailer on her Instagram account.

“This is an international project that has been in the works for a very long time. This is another step in my journey of being an executive producer and growing my production skills,” – Matheba told TshisaLIVE.

Former best friends Bonang Matheba and Somizi meet at the DStv Mzansi Viewers Choice awards Launch

Choreographer and radio personality Somizi ‘Somgaga’ Mhlongo and his former BFF television personality, radio host and businesswoman Bonang ‘Queen B’ Matheba seemed to be in speaking terms again.

The pair attended the DStv Mzansi Viewers’ Choice award launch in Sandton on Tuesday and they seemed to be playful at the event.

Matheba and Mhlongo were friends for many years before their friendship suddenly and unexpectedly ended in 2016.

In a video clip from the #DSTVMVCA launch, Bonang  can be seen opening the event and welcoming everyone. Her specially shoutout to Somizi left people shook. She said “Hello Somgaga!” which left the crowd laughing very hard.

According to several reports, Matheba told Somizi to “go mobilise your fans to vote” when the nominees for Favourite Personality of the Year were announced which included Bonang Matheba, Somizi Mhlongo, Papa Penny Ahee, Nomzamo Mbatha and Kagiso Rabada.

Somizi then replied with: “Yasss honey, hae du?” and Matheba then responded with, “Ya tsamaya!”.
