Lebo was best known for her hit songs such as Free, I Love Music, Ntozabantu and Awudede.

Seete says it still feels like Lebo’s accident happened yesterday and that it is painful to know she is gone.

Thembi, who had been very close friends with Lebo during the height of her career, said: “I can’t believe it’s been 12 years already, I think time flies really fast. It’s 12 years yet it still feels like it happened yesterday. It is painful to know that you are gone. Your spirit has protected, inspired me and really helps me not to give up. You will forever be in our hearts, we miss and love you (sic).”
