Television presenter Bonnie Mbuli leaves Afternoon Express show on SABC 3

South African actress, businesswoman, and television presenter Bonnie Mbuli is leaving the Afternoon Express show on SABC 3. Bonnie has been on the show since its inception in 2016 alongside Jeannie D.

Bonnie, who has played an important role in the evolution of Afternoon Express, will definitely be leaving a gap but she is excited to take on fresh new opportunities to diversify her brand.

Mbuli shared the stage with presenter Jeanie D and Palesa Tembe.

“I’ve built lifelong relationships at Afternoon Express and have had the opportunity to hear the stories of both international players and magnificent South Africans who are doing great things,” says Bonnie Mbuli.

She added, “Each and every one of their stories impacted me positively and it has truly been an honor to be a conduit for such powerful and moving conversations”. The actress has a role in the British drama series, Noughts, and Crosses, that has been filming in Cape Town, South Africa. The drama-series is based on a compilation of best-selling novels and is expected to air on BBC One later this year.

Channel24 reported that there are a number of exciting projects that Bonnie has been working on that will see her return to her first love – acting.
