The 8th annual Maftown Heights pulls 18 000 crowd

The 8th annual Maftown Heights had its biggest installment to date when it attracted over 18 000 people at the festival which took place this past weekend, Friday, 9 December 2017 at the Mmbatho Stadium in Mahikeng.

The historic home coming edition saw patrons attend from all over the country as well as neighbouring countries such as Botswana.

The star-studded line-up included the country’s biggest Hip Hop acts and MCs which included some classic reunions on stage such as Morafe and TBO Touch & Bonang who hadn’t shared a stage together in 8 years.

“The 8th annual Maftown Heights was an incredible night! Thank you to the over 18 000 people that came to Mmabatho Stadium and made the home coming edition the best ever edition of Maftown Heights. A big thank you to every artist, group and DJ that brought their A+ game and a very big thank you to our partners Mahika Mahikeng. “Maftown Heights has embarked on a new era and I’m extremely glad we took the festival home and that the home coming edition was so successful,” shares Khuli Chana, co-founder Maftown Heights.
