The Queen actress Motsoaledi Setumo mourns her mom

The Queen actress Motsoaledi Setumo is mourning the death of her mother Glenda Setumo. The star, who plays role of Mmabatho on The Queen, announced the news this morning on Twitter.

Mo Setumo, who has always expressed her love for her mother on her social media platforms, wrote: “Rest in Power my love.” The actress did not give much details regarding the death of her mom.

A few months back, Setumo shared a heartfelt message to her mom. The 28 year-old actress, shared a moving message about the tragic accident that affected her mum’s ability to walk.

Speaking to the Trending SA panel of presenters in 2017, Mo opened up about how a car accident left her mother quadriplegic and how she struggled to cope with it because no one in her family was willing to talk to her about it.

She also said that even though her mom’s accident made her life a bit more difficult, she drew strength from her mother who is forever smiling.

When she was eight years old, her mother was involved in a tragic accident that left her quadriplegic and that two years prior, her parents had divorced.
