Reigning supreme all the way from the North West, Mahikeng, is a zealous, eager, tenacious rising Hip Hop act with a mission and vision to elevate the Motswako genre to new heights. Having already created a name for himself in the Motswako circles as the new kid on the block to watch; Seiso is proudly spearheading the Motswako genre and is a name to look out for.

Motswako artists have played a pivotal role in shaping the SA Hip Hop scene as we know it. It even gave birth to the popular music festival, Maftown Heights, which sees thousands of concert goers gather annually to celebrate the genre with the country’s biggest Motswako acts and friends of the genre on stage.

Popular Motswako artists who are still highly celebrated today include the likes of: HHP, Cassper Nyovest, Tuks Sengana, Khuli Chana and JR, just to mention a few. Seiso grew up witnessing the rise of these famous Motswako artists and sees himself as the “voice of the new generation of Motswako” as wants to be amongst the names people think of when mentioning the leaders of Motswako in South Africa.

“Motswako is in my blood. The likes of HHP and Tuks Sengana have paved the way for artists like myself to take the reigns and fly the Motswako flag high. My name is Seiso and I’m here to stay,” expresses the rising star.

The single Go On is about moving forward. The song was written to motivate, encourage and inspire everyone who feels like giving up in life.

Having previously featured on one of Tuks Sengana’s albums, and produced some of his music, the future is looking very bright for the young freshman.
