The streaming giant Netflix has confirmed that ‘Stranger Things 3,’ ‘The Witcher’ and “The Umbrella Academy’ were among the most popular series offered on Netflix in 2019.

The streaming service provider has issued a series of top 10 “most popular” lists for its content in various genres, breaking down the movies, series, comedy specials, documentaries, nonfiction programs, kids and family and international releases that were among the most viewed in the U.S. market.

Top 10 Most Popular Series Releases of 2019 on Netflix

1. Stranger Things 3

Stranger Things is an American science fiction horror web television series created by the Duffer Brothers and released on Netflix.

2. The Witcher

The witcher Geralt, a mutated monster hunter, struggles to find his place in a world in which people often prove more wicked than beasts.

3. The Umbrella Academy

The Umbrella Academy is an American superhero web television series developed by Steve Blackman and Jeremy Slater for Netflix. It is an adaptation of the comic book series of the same name, created by Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá, and published by Dark Horse Comics.

4. Dead to Me
