Comedian, writer and presenter of The Daily Show Trevor Noah along with Producer Akin Omotoso have been awarded E! Africa Pop Culture Awards.

Taking to their Instagaram account to share the news E! Africa announced: “Comedian, writer and presenter of The Daily Show. Big 🖤 to the winner of the E! Pop Culture Award for Television, Trevor Noah (sic). ”
The award-winning film director Akin scored a film award, “The E! Africa Pop Culture Award for Film goes to the one and only Akin Omotoso.”
Both stars join local Black Coffee who also recently bagged an award from the channel ahead of its 15-year anniversary celebrations.
