Idols judge, singer and songwriter Unathi Msengana and her husband radio broadcaster Thomas ‘Bad Boy T’ Msengana have separated. Following a couple of media reports saying the two who had been together for over a decade got married in 2009.
Unathi confirmed the split this past weekend during an interview on eNCA. Speaking to eNCA’s Ayanda-Allie Paine, Unathi said “we are not together, but we are in a good place. We are family.”
Unathi said that she and Thomas were handling their separation as a family and were not happy about how some media had reported on it.
“We are actually in the process of suing one tabloid,” she said in the interview.
Unathi and Thomas have two children.
