In just over three years, the clothing brand has established a presence in eight provinces, opening 13 new stores in the past financial year. This momentum reflects the strong customer demand for well-made clothing that delivers on quality and style without the premium price tag.

With a distinct and increasingly recognisable aesthetic, UNIQ Clothing by Checkers is offering customers a fresh perspective. From fabric choices and silhouettes to colour, detail and styling, the brand is focused on creating clothing that feels current, relevant and easy to live in.

“Reaching our 50th store is an incredibly exciting moment for us,” says Benise Spangenberg, Head Buyer for UNIQ Clothing by Checkers. “It is a reflection of the incredible response we have received from our customers and their appetite for clothing that combines great fabrics, quality and an elevated sense of style at an accessible price. That has been our focus from the very beginning as we have continued to grow our womenswear, menswear and kidswear offering, and this milestone gives us even greater confidence in where we are going.”
