Veteran actress Michelle Botes, who is best known for her role as villanious Cherel de Villiers-Haines Holmes in the SABC3 soapie Isidingo, is returning to the soapie for a 2-episode arc to mark Isidingo’s 21st anniversary.

Michelle Botes was on Isidingo from 1998-2007 and again from 2010. As reported by Channel24, Michelle Botes was filming scenes on Tuesday for special episodes marking the soapies milestone anniversary produced by Pomegranate Media.
The two episodes featuring Cherel de Villiers-Haines Holmes will be broadcast on Friday 5 July and Monday 8 July 2019 on SABC3 at 7pm.
Isidingo publicist Catherine Sidyiyo, told the publication that the episodes will contain scenes not related to the main ongoing story arcs but are additional scenes to mark the weekday soap’s anniversary.
Between 2007 and 2010, the 57 year old actress starred as Ingrid Jordaan on the M-Net Afrikaans-language soapie Binneland Sub Judice (formerly known as Binnelanders).
Taking to their official Twitter account, Isidingo SABC3 Twitter account posted a photo of Michelle back in the dressing room, getting hair and make-up done.
