Lion on top of a Jeep had social media talking. The incident happened at the Lion and Safari Park in Hartbeespoort, Gauteng.

In a video making rounds on social media, three big male lions are seen approaching a white Jeep. One of the lions from the pride suddenly jumped on top of the car. The Jeep driver then slowly reversed and the lion eventually jumped off the car and the rest of the lions backed off.
Speaking to News24, the park’s the general manager, André LaCock, said: “On this particular day, we had three young male lions that wanted to explore the vehicles and ended up climbing up on the vehicle’s bonnet,” André LaCock, the park’s the general manager, told News24.
André further told the publication that public safety is important to them and their staff is on the ground everyday making sure that this won’t happen again. He said these lions were new to the enclosure and got a little excited.
It has also been reported that there were no injuries as a result of the incident and the customers are not angry. The vehicle is being repaired after it sustained minor damage and the Lion and Safari Park paid the excess fee for the insurance.
