If you have been following Lucifer from season one until four, you will know that it is Netflix’s latest revival show. The series has managed to pull some crowds from FOX who canceled it last year after three successful seasons. The revival of Lucifer came after fans campaigned to save the show.
According to various reports, Netflix US hadn’t actually streamed Lucifer at all. The show’s ratings in other countries including South Africa convinced Netflix to continue Lucifer’s story because it was loved by many fans.
At the beginning of 2019, Netflix added the first Lucifer’s seasons. Lucifer season 4 premiered exclusively on Netflix around the world this year around May 8th.
Has Lucifer been renewed for season 5?
Lucifer was officially renewed for season 5 on the 7th May 2019, however, they announced that season 5 of Lucifer will be the final season. There won’t be Lucifer season 6.

Season 5 of Lucifer will have 16 episodes. Meaning we will have almost 16 hours worth of new exciting content in 2020.
