The Generations: The Legacy stars Zöe Mthiyane and Rapulana Seiphemo are reportedly getting very cosy behind the scenes.
The two actors, who play on-screen lovers Tau Mogale and Zitha Radebe in the SABC1 soapie, seem to have taken things a notch up. Fellow actors and SABC crew said they saw them together off-screen.
A source on-set told SowetanLive that Zöe and Rapulana are spending a lot of time in each other’s dressing rooms. Another source said that last week they stepped out together to attend a public event in Orlando, Soweto.
Curious fans were stunned to see the two cosying up at the opening of a hair salon.
The establishment is said to belong to a former Generations hairstylist. The opening was also attended by Seiphemo’s close buddy and actor/comedian Kenneth Nkosi.
Generations: The Legacy spokeswoman Gaaratwe Mokhethi refused to comment, saying she didn’t speak on the personal lives of actors.
Mthiyane’s last relationship was with The Lion King producer Lebo M, who is the father of her daughter. They broke off their engagement dramatically and have had sparring episodes over the wellbeing of the child.
Reports said that Mthiyane reportedly hung up the phone when a Sowetan reporter called her for comment.
