Nkunzi from Uzalo says he is not a Tsotsi

Uzalo actor Masoja Msiza, better known as Nkunzi has addressed congregants of Jesus Is Alive Church in Rode Village, near Mount Ayliff, Eastern Cape, that he is not a criminal.

Masoja has been blamed for an attempted ATM bombing. Masoja who plays a thug on the SABC1 telenovela told the church that “I am not a criminal. I am just an actor who believes in God.”

According to Daily Sun, accusations came after attempted ATM bombing in Matatiele, Eastern Cape, last month, residents started saying the thugs could have been inspired by Msiza’s TV role.

This came after reports that the actor planned to hold auditions in and around Matatiele to find talented youth. However, Msiza on Saturday said he had never planned on going to Matatiele.

Masechaba stated that it was one of the hardest decisions she has ever had to make. She said: “I’ve taken the very painful decision of separating from my husband, the love of my life, the man of my dreams. My ride or die. We will always remain friends and fantastic parents to our children – and we will always love and care for each other. So many people remain in relationships that no longer serve them because they are afraid of what people are going to say. Afraid of what it’s going to do to the kids.”
