When topping up your Telkom LTE data, it is recommended that you go to your mobile phone’s setting and switch off your mobile. You should only have your Wi-Fi connected to your Wi-Fi device. The Telkom App will still work and will switch off your mobile data and syncs the data from your SIM card.

How to Buy Data On Telkom Via the Telkom App
Here’s how to top up your Telkom LTE data:
- Step 1: Open your Telkom App.
- Step 2: Enter your username and password and click ‘login’
- Step 3: Go to ‘Accounts’
- Step 4: Select Buy.
- Step 5: Scroll through the list of options and select Data Bundles.
- Step 6: Choose the bundle type – LTE/LTE-A once off.
- Step 7: Choose your preferred data bundle amount e.g. 10GB + 10GB.
- Step 8: Choose your preferred payment method to pay for your data.
- Step 9: Click ‘Continue’ when the confirmation screen pops up.
- Step 10: Your Telkom Data bundles will be successfully purchased.
