How to Get Your 2022 Matric Results?
Both public and private schools can check results using on of the following methods. Here are 5 ways to get your matric results:
- Online on the Department of Basic Education website
- Online on the News24 website
- In the newspaper
- From your high school
- Via SMS
- Online on the IEB website
1. How to Get Matric Results Online On The Department of Basic Education website
- Visit the website of the Department of Education matric results page
- Enter your examination number
- More personal details may be required
- Click “Search”
- Your 2022 matric results will now come up
- Click the download button and print
2. Online Via News24
Visit the News24 Matric results page. Enter your South African ID number to check your matric results.
3. In the Newspaper
Your matric results will be published in the newspaper. You can check your results by checking newspapers such as The Argus, The Star and The Rapport. The results are published on 20 January 2023.
4. From Your High School
Another popular way to get your matric results is by visiting your high school. Go to your high school, results should be available from the afternoon.
5. Get Matric Results Via SMS
Send your ID number and exam number via SMS to 35658. Both numbers must have 13 digits to be accepted, and there is a once-off cost of R3 to register. Once registration is completed, your matric results will be sent to you via SMS when they are released.
6. Online on the IEB website
IEB learners can check their results online by visiting the matric results’ page.
