Episode 971 – Monday 3 January 2022
Zandile (now played by Angela Sithole) names the snake and learns the creature has special needs. KaMadonsela has a dream that the Bhengu baby is in danger.
Episode 972 – Tuesday 4 January 2022
Zola’s water breaks, the Bhengu baby is on the way. Zandile’s witchcraft is working as Nkululeko gives her a key to his place.
Episode 973 – Wednesday 5 January 2022
It seems that babies are the snakes favourite snack. Zandile begs Bhululu (the snake) not to go for Mepho. Nirupa offers her support to maZulu and wants information about Menzi.
Episode 974 – Thursday 6 January 2022
Nokuzola has to have an emergency c-section to save the baby’s life, but when it is born, the Bhengu’s learn that something is wrong. Zandile wants to stop the snake from hurting Nkululeko’s child, and redirects it against maZulu.

At the Rampersad house Vanya plants seeds of doubt in Shria’s head about Jason being the One. Thu Sheleni warns Vanya her games will end in tears.

Thu Sheleni is forced to be policeman and thwarts a game of musical beds in the Rampersad house. Zandile continues to manipulate Nkululeko and gets him to agree to Mepho continuing to stay with Phunyuka.

When Nokuzola discovers the baby needs a blood transfusion, she confesses to Ntombekhaya that Nkululeko might be the father. More secrets trouble the world of Imbewu.

Shria bites Vanya’s head off when she learns Vanya took her clothes and wore her perfume. Shria wants Vanya to leave but Nirupa puts her foot down – Vanya is not going anywhere.
Episode 979 – Thursday 13 January 2022
Zithulele tricks Nkululeko into an unplanned trip to the inyanga. Zandile is frantic when she hears that the Bhengu’s are going to see Mpangele and is desperate to intervene.

The doctor tells Nokuzola that Zithulele cannot be the father, he needs blood from the real father to save the baby.

The Bhengu’s gather to pray for the baby, and Nkululeko arrives to donate his blood.

Zithulele finds out it was the father’s blood that helped his New born daughter. Are they referring to him as the “father”?

The spell is reversed and Zandile is distraught when she learns that her family died. Nkululeko is done with Zandile. Zithulele arrives home with his new family.

The civil society group gate crashes the press conference but Sifiso saves the day. Nirupa feels alone in her family.
