Main Reason Why Sassa Status Pending

Pending means your application has not yet been approved, your details still need to be screened and verified first. Once approved, you will receive an SMS from SASSA requesting your banking details, then you will be paid.

Sassa Status Pending

If your Sassa status says ‘pending’ and you haven’t heard anything from the South African Social Services Agency (SASSA) after submitting your SRD application, it probably mean that SASSA has not yet approved your application. In this article, we will answer your question ‘why is my Sassa status pending?’

What Does Sassa Status Pending Mean?

SASSA has said that ‘Pending’ means your application has not yet been approved. Sassa is still in the process of scanning your details so that it can be verified first. Once approved, you will receive an SMS from SASSA requesting your banking details, then you will be paid.

How to Fix Sassa Status Pending?

Should you be seeing a ‘Bank details pending’ as you do a SASSA R350 grant status check, this means that your application, or reapplication, has been received. However, you haven’t submitted bank details or preferences for how your R350 grant payment should be made.

The client should submit their banking details via the website. “Once approved, you will receive an SMS from SASSA requesting your banking details, then you will be paid.”

What should you do when you have received the ‘Reapplication Pending’ Sassa application status? According to SASSA, you need to submit your Sassa application for R350 using the SRD Sassa website.
