The 2022 National Senior Certificate examinations concluded on 7 December 2022 and the Minister of Basic Education, Mrs Angie Motshekga, will announce the outcome of the examinations on 19 January 2023. Matric Results 2022 will be released to candidates on 20 January 2023.

  1. Visit the department of education’s website at www.education.gov.za.
  2. Click on “Examination Results”
  3. Then click on “2022 Senior Certificate (SC) Exam Results”
  4. Use your exam number to register in the field provided.
  5. Enter your exam number and click ‘Search”
  6. You will automatically see the results on your screen.
  7. Download the results and print.

How can I get my matric results by SMS 2022?

To register to receive your matric results via SMS, send your ID number and exam number via SMS to 35658. To be accepted, both your ID and exam numbers must have 13 digits. The once-off fee is R3.00 to register. Once registration is completed, your matric results will be delivered by SMS when they are released.

What time are matric results released?
