You can check your matric results on the Department of Basic Education website. Follow the below steps:
- Go to Matric Results 2022 Website
- Enter your matric exam number and press ‘search’
- Only current matric pupils can use this system to check their Matric results.
- Download your results
The results that are reflected on Matric Results website are the results of the 2022 National Senior Certificate examination.
There is a second opportunity available to complete or improve your results. You can register for the May/June 2023 examination; the closing date for application is 8 February 2023. Admission requirements are on the reverse side of your Statement of Results.
Basic Education Minister Angie Motshekga has announced an 80.1 percent matric pass rate for the class of 2022. This is the second highest since 2019. A total of 580,555 candidates passed the matric exams.
