Just off the back of winning Best Dance Album at the 16th annual Metro FM Music Awards which took place in Durban this past Saturday, 25 February 2017; Mobi Dixon releases the latest single off his award winning album Live The Music, titled Ezizweni featuring multi-award winning Afro Soul singer, Berita.

Ezizweni tells a story of how the power of love can take you places. The emotions drawn from being in the presence of your loved one can figuratively make you feel like you are in places you’ve never been to before.
“I would like people to remember how exciting love can be whether new or old. Making the effort to spend more time with your partner and do exiting things together is major key. Cherish your partner like a treasure and they will literally and figuratively take you places,” expresses Mobi Dixon.
Ezizweni is the third radio single to be released off Mobi Dixon’s Live The Music album and follows his signature tribal soul house sound with beautiful sultry lyrics that will appeal to a broader base of fans around the country.
On collaborating with Berita, Mobi Dixon shares: “I first met Berita in 2011 when she was a student at the Walter Sisulu University. I immediately fell in love with her voice when I first heard her perform at a poetry session. We spoke of working together in future when the time is right and the Live The Music album was the perfect opportunity. We spent quite a lot time in studio over 3 sessions till we found what we were looking for and Ezizweni was born.”
The Metro FM Music Awards Best Dance Album is a hotly contended category every year and Mobi Dixon’s win this year is testament to the hard work he has put into his music over the years, which has led to the release of his latest album titled Live The Music. Live The Music includes chart topping singles such as Trigger featuring Inga Hina, Mixed Up Chick featuring Monique Bingham, and the remix to Tresor’s Never Let Me go just to name a few.
