South African On-Air personality, Hip Hop DJ and Host of The StirUp on 5FM, Ms Cosmo, has released much anticipated visuals in the form music video for her debut hit single#Connect featuring Nasty C, Rouge and Kwesta.
The music video for #Connect premiered exclusively as Spanking New on MTV Base this week.
#Connect is a song that gives the best vibes of wavy and feel-good music. The music video sees Ms Cosmo and her friends connect to have a good time and do so in a summer loving way.
The music video visuals were captured by Slikour On Life and was shot at an exclusive venue in Houghton.
“I am quite nervous and excited all at once as this is my first ever music video and I’m proud of the look and feel we tried to achieve. The video is very light hearted and is focused on accentuate the colours of summer,” expresses Ms Cosmo.
Since its debut a few months ago, Ms Cosmo’s #Connect gained momentum in the South African music scene. The single has been play listed by over 30 key radio stations across the country and counting, and has had the local Hip Hop fraternity giving lots of props and many have dubbed as one of the biggest singles of 2017.
