Please note that Sassa has no fixed payment dates for Sassa SRD R350 grant. The date that appears on a status of R350 grant is not a payment date. The date that appears on a status of R350 grant is not a Sassa SRD payment date but it is a date where the grant was captured in the system. After the grant is captured in the system the beneficiary can receive the SMS at any time.
Beneficiaries must wait for SMS payment before they go to withdraw the SRD R350 grant in merchants or banks.

The South African Social Security Agency said ‘payments for the new cycle of the Covid-19 SRD grant (from April 2022) will be paid as from mid-June 2022. Sassa will continue clearing outstanding payments from the previous cycle as and when the bank details are confirmed’.
