The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) has released the SASSA grant payment dates for April 2023.
More than 16 million South Africans benefit from the various social grants provided by the government and distributed by South African Social Security Agency (SASSA).
The SASSA grant is designed to help individuals and families from disadvantaged backgrounds in South Africa with financial aid. These SASSA grants provide financial assistance to vulnerable and low-income individuals who are in need of support. More than 16 million South Africans benefit from the various social grants provided by the government.
SASSA grant payment dates for April 2023
The confirmed Sassa payment dates for April 2023 are as follows;
- The Older Persons Grant (as well as any grants linked to these accounts) will be paid on 4 April 2023.
- The Disability Grant (as well as any grants linked to these accounts) will be paid on 5 April 2023.
- All other grants will be paid on 6 April 2023.
These Sassa payments can be received by SASSA beneficiaries from the relevant supermarkets such as Shoprite, Checkers, USave, Boxer and Pick n Pay. For better convenience to receive your grant money, SASSA grant payments can be made directly into the beneficiaries’ bank accounts.
