The South African Social Security Agency – SASSA has announced that the SASSA SRD R350 payment dates for November 2022 will be released. SASSA SRD payments will be in mid-November 2022. Sassa begins distributing permanent grants from the second day of every new month.

South African Post Office branches does no longer pay out Sassa R350 SRD grants.
- Sassa has said that there is no fixed payment dates for those who receive their SRD grant payments. If you don’t have any banking details, individuals can collect your grant cash from the Post Office branches (SAPO/Post Bank), Pick-N-Pay or Boxer stores.
The SASSA SRD R350 will be paid to beneficiaries from August 2021 to next year March 2023.

Payment via Bank Account
Once your Sassa SRD grant application is submitted and approved, you can receive the R350 grant money straight to your bank account. The South African Social Security Agency (Sassa) recommends this payment method because it is the most convenient way to receive money.
The agency has said that once you submit your the Covid-19 R350 grant application and choose bank as your payment method, you submit your banking details as part of your SASSA SRD application process. This would make paying your R350 grant easier and faster. You will then be able to withdraw your R350 at any ATM.
SASSA Payment Collection
Should you not have a bank account, you can also collect your grant cash by visiting a Checkers, Shoprite, USave, OK, Boxer or Pick n Pay store. Alternatively, you can also receive your Sassa SRD grant through a CashSend. The South African Social Security Agency (Sassa) has previously advised clients to wait for an SMS confirmation to say there has been confirmation of payment before they go and collect the grant money.
