All South Africans who have applied for and have qualified for the R350 Social Relief of Distress (SRD) grant, can expect their SASSA SRD R350 grant by mid-October 2022.

According to Sassa’s payment schedule, Sassa payment dates for October 2022 for social grants will start with the older persons’ grants which will be paid from Monday 3 October 2022, followed by the disability grants on Tuesday 4 October 2022 and lastly, the children’s grants which will be paid on Wednesday 5 October 2022

Post Office branches does no longer pay out Sassa R350 SRD grants. According to Sassa’s payment schedule, payment dates for October 2022 for social grants will start with the older persons’ grants which will be paid from Monday 3 October 2022, followed by the disability grants on Tuesday 4 October 2022 and lastly, the children’s grants which will be paid on Wednesday 5 October 2022. The Sassa SRD R350 payment dates for October 2022 come after other grants. 

The SASSA SRD R350 will be paid to beneficiaries until next year March 2023. The first week of October 2022 is reserved for the payment of grants to the elderly, child grants and disability grants. The rest of the month is dedicated to the payment of SRD grants.

With the South African Post Office (SAPO) no longer paying out SRD grants, you can collect your grant from Pick n Pay, Boxer, Shoprite, Checkers or USave stores.
