How to Check SRD Status? | SRD Status Check Online

After you’ve submitted your SRD application, you may wish to check your SRD Status. However, first, the South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) needs to verify your application through the Sassa verification and validation process. For banking details, the applicant’s details go to the Department of Treasury; to the specific bank chosen by the applicant and when it is verified it then goes back to Treasury and lastly handed over to SASSA for payment purposes.

Once your SRD grant application is submitted and approved, you can receive the R350 grant money straight to your bank account. SASSA recommends this payment method because it is the most convenient way to receive money.
