South African actress and voice artist Kgomotso Christopher has admitted that she is the voice behind MTN’s customer care line.

Kgomotso, who plays a role of Yvonne on Scandal! etv, revealed to fans that she is the MTN voice that tells you when you have insufficient funds.
The star took to social media to share a video clip of the popular “you have insufficient funds please recharge” among other services offered by MTN.
While many South Africans had unconsciously linked the voice to a white woman, Kgomotso Christopher, confirmed on social media that she’s been in the business for over six years.
“Yep. I am glad you remember what I’ve always said. Remember I said for long voicework was my main income stream because I had no fulltime acting work…in fact it was this consistent MTN work I was referring to (sic),” – Kgomotso replied to a Twitter user.
