After a decade, etv has decided to cancel its breakfast show Sunrise and replace it with a brand new show The Morning Show. Penny Lebyane, Mark Haskins, Faith Mangope and news anchor Marc Chase won’t be part of the new show.
The Morning Show is produced by Cheeky Media, also responsible for Real Talk with Anele on SABC3 and that produced the second season of the advertiser-funded production (AFP) She’s the One for e.tv in September 2015.
The Morning Show is presented by comedian Jason Goliath, Michaella Russell, Tumelo Mothotoane, Tino Chinyadi and Miss South Africa 2017 Adè van Heerden who will be hosting a segment, Medical Mondays.
