The Sassa Payment Dates for February 2023 are as follows

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) has announced the Sassa payment dates for February 2023 for permanent social grants. Here are the Sassa Grants: Older Persons Grant, Disability Grant and Children’s Grant. Each month, new Sassa payment dates are released for the permanent social grants. These grants are distributed on the second day of every new month.

Here is the February payment schedule for social grants:

February 2023:

Older Persons/ Pensioners Grant: Thursday, 2 February 2023. Disability Grant: Friday, 3 February 2023. All other Grants: Monday, 6 February 2023.

This includes any grants linked to these accounts.

According to SASSA, About 31% of the South African population relies on social grants, and additionally, there are approximately 10 million beneficiaries who depend on the monthly R350 special Covid-19 social relief grant.

Sassa Payments

The SASSA Payment Dates for February 2023 start from Thursday, 02 February 2023, starting with the older person’s grant.

Older Persons/ Pensioners Grant: Thursday, 2 February 2023. Disability Grant: Friday, 3 February 2023. All other Grants: Monday, 6 February 2023.

The Sassa Payment Dates for R350 Grant for February 2023 haven’t been confirmed yet. There is no fixed payment date for those who receive their SASSA SRD grant payments through the bank account. These payment dates are no longer applicable to the post office payout system.  Beneficiaries can receive their grants as soon as they receive confirmation of payment from SASSA.

Beneficiaries are urged to wait for an SMS to say that they can collect their R350 grant and should not head out to collect it if they haven’t received an SMS. If you don’t have any banking details, individuals can collect your grant cash from Pick-N-Pay, Shoprite, Checkers, USave or Boxer stores.

The SASSA SRD R350 will be paid to beneficiaries from August 2021 until March 2024.
