Victor Dlokolo, manager of South African singer Babes Wodumo, has denied rumours that the ‘Wololo’ hit maker is engaged.
Rumours set social media alight this past weekend after reports that Babes was engaged to Big Nuz member, Mampintsha, started trending.
Speaking to The Juice, Victor said that he is not sure where the news of the engagement came from or who started them. “We don’t know where those reports came from; they are completely false. Babes has been in a relationship for five years and is very happy but she is not engaged,” he said.
This is not the first time the two have been linked romantically.
DJ Tira also recently caused speculation of the two being romantically involved when he posted two images of Babes and Mampintsh; one image of the two in 2013 and another image that was taken this year.
He added the caption, “2013 >>>> 2016 My people… I love them. Angisho lutho njalo. Where there is love nendlela ikhona. Anything is possible if u believe!!!! #GumabFest #Newcastle 1 October”.
Babes also regularly posts images of herself and Mampintsha on social media.
