When Is SASSA Payment For August 2023?
The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) has announced that the permanent social grant beneficiaries will receive their money in August 2023. All SASSA grants are set to be paid to beneficiaries during the first week of the new month. SASSA is responsible for distributing social grants to more than 16 million deserving South Africans. Permanent grants that are distributed by SASSA include the Older Persons grant, Disability grant, War Veterans grant, Care Dependency grant, Foster Child grant, Child Support grant, Child Support grant Top Up and Grant-in-aid.
SASSA said they will start the payments with the Older person’s grants. It will be paid first in August, followed by the Disability grant and children’s grant which will be paid during the week.
Here Are The Sassa Grant Payment Dates For August 2023
The Older Persons Grant (as well as any grants linked to these accounts) will be paid on 2 August 2023.
The Disability Grant (as well as any grants linked to these accounts) will be paid on 3 August 2023.
All other grants (Child Support Grant, Foster Child Grant, Care Dependency Grant, War Veterans Grant) will be paid on 4 August 2023.
