The 6th Annual South African Hip Hop Awards (SAHHA 2017) took place at The Lyric Theatre in Johannesburg last night under the theme #HIPHOPPOLITICS. Cassper Nyovest dominated the awards by scooping 6 awards for for Album of the year, Milestone award, Best Music Video, Best Male, Most Valuable and Hustler of the Year.
According to SA Hip Hop Awards site, over 500 entries were submitted for the 6th Annual South African Hip Hop Awards (SAHHA2017). That was followed by a thorough vetting process by the industry experts from different fields.
The 2017 SA Hip Hop Awards winners are:

– Promoter of the Year – Junior Lavie
