Simba Mhere was a Top Billing presenter who died in a car accident in 2015. The accident that claimed Simba’s life occured near OR Tambo International Airport, Gauteng.

  • Dumi Masilela died at the age of 29
Dumi Masilela

Dumi Masilela was an actor and musician. Dumi Masilela was shot and killed in an attempted hijacking in Tembisa in 2017.

  • Senzo Meyiwa died at the age of 30

Senzo Meyiwa was a South African footballer who played as a goalkeeper for Orlando Pirates in the Premier Soccer League, and for the South Africa national team. He was shot and killed in a robbery 2014.

  • Lebo Mathosa died at the age of 29
Lebo Mathosa

Lebo Mathosa was a popular South African kwaito singer. Mathosa started her career with the popular South African band Boom Shaka in 1994 at the age of 17. She died in a car accident in east of Johannesburg in 2006.

  • Reeva Steenkamp died at the age of 30
Reeva Steenkamp

Reeva Steenkamp was a South African model. On Valentine’s Day 2013, Steenkamp was shot dead by her boyfriend, Oscar Pistorius, who said he believed she was an intruder hiding in the bathroom.
